Components of Sound – Talk & PDF slides

I recently have given a couple of talks covering some of the basic facets of sound, how we hear them, interpret them and use them. It is aimed primarily at introducing game developers to some of the techniques and considerations that can be applied to working with audio.

Hopefully this overly wordy set of slides will lend themselves reasonably well to being read independent of the talk itself. I’ll be making amendments to the talk in future, but these are the slides as they currently are:
